The class meets 7 to 9 p.m. on two successive Mondays and Thursdays, is held at the flotilla's operations center in Sandsprit Park, at 3443 S.E. St. Lucie Blvd.
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 081-04-08 in Slidell will be offering a one-day boating safety seminar from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 23.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH: Boating safety classes offered by Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 16-10 can help boaters obtain a New Jersey boating safety certificate, now mandatory for anyone older than age 16 operating a powerboat or personal watercraft.
